The Auto Workers Community Credit Union is a full service, locally owned and controlled financial co-operative. A portion of our profits are also returned to the Membership in the form of dividends or interest rebates. We currently service over 14,000 members and that number is growing by the day.We are guided by a democratically elected Board of Directors and thanks to our members we are able to invest our earning back into the credit union and into the communities we serve. At AWCCU your deposits are insured up to $100, 000 and each (RRSP/RRIF) plan is fully insured. It was founded in 1938, mortgage, and today has expanded its scope to include anyone living or working in the Durham Region.We offer a full range of loan, originally for auto workers and their families, deposit and investment options.
